Press Release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Oxford, United Kingdom - July 4th 2009, Robert Inventor announces Version 3.2 of Bounce Metronome Pro.

This metronome uses bounces to help you keep in time, just as conductors often do when they bounce their baton "off an invisible plane" as they conduct. It's especially easy to play in time with a ball as it bounces off a flat surface. Bounce Metronome Pro can show the bounces following any rhythm, as a drum stick, ball or baton. It can also show them as a ball bouncing on lyrics as in the early "car-tunes".

You can practice almost any kind of rhythm with this metronome, including swing, polyrhythms, additive rhythms like 3 2 3/8, and combinations of all of those. Also includes harmonic metronomes and a version of Theremin's Rhythmicon - a pitched polyrhythm metronome, which was the first ever drum machine.

The bounces help you synchronise your notes exactly with the beat. That's especially useful when you practice irregular and tricky rhythms. You can also practice smooth and gradual tempo changes with the tempo variation feature.

In version 3.2 the main new feature is the metronomes drop list in the main window. Select the type of rhythm or metronome you want, e.g. swing, polyrhythm or whatever is the main interest, and the main window is set up ready to work with that particular type of rhythm. The Rhythmicon is also new and the Swing Metronome has new features.

Other new features include a right click to accent beats feature, and improved keyboard shortcuts. You can use the backspace key to tap the tempo, the return key as a quick way to stop and start the metronome, and quick shortcut keys to silence or play any part in the rhythm.

You get the basic metronome for $6.99, the pro metronome for $29.99, and the complete version of Tune Smithy as well for $49.99.

The download includes a free 30 day trial with all the features completely unlocked.

If you already have the Play or Complete License for Tune Smithy, you can unlock the Pro metronome, and if you have the Midi Save license for Tune Smithy you get the basic metronome.
