Thanks, I'll take a good look at the design and see what I can do.

There are some controls that could be left out of that window but not sure how to handle that, because they are things you might want to access also at this stage, and it is already perhaps a bit large for a "least" version of the windows.

On the other hand though the next size up is a rather large window with lots of options for configuring the gradually changing tempo stepping progression in great detail.

So - maybe the solution is to expand that version just a bit more, and then make a smaller version with fewer controls for those who just want to set the start and finish tempo (say), and not much else, similar to the Basic metronome.

It's bound to be a bit of a compromise as things that are important to some musicians are rarely used by other musicians and vice versa. So for instance some might want to work with the advanced stepping progression fields or whatever and want those controls all in the smaller version of the window.

But will see what I can do about it, this compromise of making the existing window one line of controls higher, and then making a less version which is much simpler than the existing one may be a solution. Will try it out and see what it feels like and how it goes.

Thanks,

Greetings,

Would it be possible to to have "But only adjust tempo every...." appear on the first dialog screen for Changing Tempo?

I prefer to increase BPM by measure, at the moment, and can set everything up on the first screen without hitting "More" except for that one field.

Thanks!

Hi Rickeyjt

Sorry for the delay in this reply, just noticed your post. Anyway so will answer it anyway - though you probably have discovered by now!

The solution is to go to the Stereo Pan window. For this you can pan everything hard to one side or the other.

Stereo Pan (Ctrl + 50)

0 is hard left, and 127 is hard right.

Though when you play the notes via midi with some synths even hard left gives you some sound in the right ear as well.

Is there a switch to set the playback to mono.  I like to listen in just one ear sometimes.

If you just want to play a Lissajous pattern over the top of a static image then you can use the option to set a background texture and use your image as the background texture.

But if you want to do the Lissajous pattern with a truly transparent background (so you can easily overlay it on anything else, including e.g. other animations or to include in web pages with textured background), you can't do that at present.

Should be possible to do it, will look into it for next major update.
