Still, the situation appears to be symmetrical: Until Gregg suggested as much, I can honestly say that 7:4 being perceived as a discord would not even so much as crossed my mind. But apparently the exact opposite is the case from Gregg's perspective. But as far as listening goes, the two unusual tunings I've spent the most time exploring, 88CET and 10TET, both approximate 7:4 pretty well. (Actually, 88CET represents exceptionally well, vs. fairly well for 10TET.) So I believe that I have considerable experience with 7:4.
